TURSHSU PROJECT

The settlement of Turshsu, which belongs to the administrative territory of Shusha District, is located in the Karabakh range of the Lesser Caucasus, near Mount Kirs, at the foot of Mount Sagsagan, at the 17th kilometer of the Shusha - Lachin road, and at an altitude of 1,938 meters above sea level. Reconstruction works in Turshsu, whose foundation was laid by President Ilham Aliyev on May 10, 2024, are progressing rapidly. The settlement is home to 353 families, totaling 1,403 residents.

In addition to the construction of 353 individual residential houses, the settlement will feature multi-storey residential buildings, administrative buildings, a school building for 352 students, and a kindergarten with a capacity of 100 children. Overall, the geographical location of the settlement is favorable for the development of the tourism sector.

With its beautiful nature, rare climate, and the miraculous “Turshsu” mineral spring, the settlement has long been considered one of the most picturesque corners of Karabakh and was known as a famous resort. Accordingly, the concept project includes not only residential complexes but also the construction of a hotel, recreation centers, and other facilities.
